You will hear directly from two SV2 Impact Investees — a social enterprise and an impact fund — as well as learn about the recent exits that generated returns and the exciting changes being implemented by the SV2 staff and Impact Investment Committee.

Shannon Wass

Shannon Wass currently serves on the board of Humane Society Silicon Valley and Happy Hollow Foundation and is a member of the Advisory Committee for The Walt Disney Family Museum. She and her husband Dan Kelmenson enjoy playing and watching ice hockey, theatre, traveling and Disney. They share their home with their resident cats and many foster animals.

New Way Homes

SV2's newest Impact Investee Partner New Way Homes (NWH) is bringing affordable housing to Monterey Bay and Oakland regions with an innovative model that fast-tracks multi-unit permitting on community nonprofit and faith-based land assets. Come meet Sibley Simon, an Emmy-award winning technologist and passionate community advocate, the team, and community partners as they complete their first major project in Oakland at the Genesis Worship Center.
