Katey Kennedy and Marc van den Berg

Katey Kennedy, Executive Director at the 1440 Foundation, champions projects supporting community mental health and wellbeing, programs targeting youth empowerment, and support for unhoused and immigrant neighbors. Marc van den Berg is an investment leader with Climate Investment; he brings strategic vision to funding scalable clean‑tech and sustainable infrastructure solutions. Marc has over three decades of experience in the clean tech space with a variety of investment firms and startups. Katey’s work with nonprofits spans 20+ years, with an early career in high tech at HP.  Marc’s work takes him all over the US and internationally, and Katey is focused on the Bay Area, recently in San Francisco and Santa Cruz Counties. They are looking to connect with others in the SV2 community interested in making a difference.

Ted Stinson

Ted serves as the CEO of Covariant, an AI robotics company. He is deeply passionate about startups and company building, both as an operator and an investor/advisor. His civic and charitable efforts focus on two main areas: improving outcomes for individuals with mental illness—particularly severe mental illness—and promoting evidence-based decision-making in the nonprofit sector. In his spare time, he is a general aviation pilot with a love for flying.

Ayudando Latinos A Soñar | Food Pantry

Volunteer at the Food Pantry and serve our Coastside families. Tasks include arrange, pack, tidy, categorize, count product, dismantle boxes, and more. More information and sign up here.

Brightline celebrates three years of air quality community organizing. Their article includes 250+ needs assessment interviews, surveys, public comments on San Francisco's most vulnerable residents’ voices regarding air quality. Read more here.



Learning Home Volunteers | Volunteer

Please join us at this drop-in event to help create learning activities for the children in our program. We welcome children ages 5 and up and their adults.
